Overview
The Don Julio team extended an open invitation to create a unique Limited Edition package for the Local LA market leveraging the current Don Julio 750ml carton and The Dodgers visual identity.
Approach
Their audience is predominantly Mexican American. So I drew inspiration from Mexican talavera art. I created unique tiles as a pattern across the box. The design was loved by the clients and made it to the final round of picks.
Outcome
Ultimately the design wasn't chosen. But I still get emails from people asking where to get these boxes to this day.
