Overview

Mason & Magnolia launched as a female-owned real estate brokerage in Hattiesburg, MS, with a clear problem: how do you stand out in a field dominated by big, corporate, trust-heavy brands? They didn’t want to look louder—they wanted to look warmer. The goal was to build a brand that felt human, welcoming, and unmistakably local.

Approach

The insight came straight from the founder. Brittany is southern hospitality—warm, thoughtful, and allergic to anything that feels cheap or out of place. We built the brand around that truth. Vibrant but tasteful colors, an approachable identity, and signage designed to complement homes rather than clutter them. Every touchpoint was crafted to feel like an extension of the neighborhood, not an interruption. I delivered a complete brand guide and showed how the system could flex across signs, marketing, and future growth—without ever losing its charm. Their signs were designed to add to the appeal of the home, rather than distract with bright flashy colors.

Outcome

The brand didn’t just stand out—it settled in. Within months, Mason & Magnolia became a recognizable staple in the area, quickly expanding to three additional locations across Mississippi. Today, their logo is everywhere, and the brand has become so distinctive that people recognize it instantly—often saying, “Oh, you’re the one with those beautiful signs.”
